Proposal to change rules of preliminary hearings in trials

A bill that would allow people to be charged with a felony without the chance to confront their accuser in a preliminary hearing, is getting strong support from prosecutors and victims rights groups. But defense attorneys oppose it. Gilman Halsted reports.
