Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates Rebecca Bradley and JoAnne Kloppenburg will face off in a debate in Madison on Friday night.
The debate, sponsored by Wisconsin Public Radio, Wisconsin Public Television and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, will take place on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus at 7 p.m. Bradley, a sitting Supreme Court justice who was appointed last year by Gov. Scott Walker, is seeking a permanent seat against Kloppenburg, an appeals court judge, in the spring election set for April 5.
In addition to the debate, WPR, WPT and the Journal Sentinel will be organizing a live chat that will run in parallel to the debate, with a panel of guests offering insights, commentary and reporting about the Supreme Court race and the debate itself. The public can participate in the chat, asking questions and offering comments, with some questions from the public making its way into the debate or influencing the questions.
