Milwaukee’s original SistaStrings released a new album this year titled “Love Is The Only Thing” in partnership with Peter Mulvey. During their national tour with Brandi Carlie, the two classically trained musicians talk about melding gospel, R&B and classical music.

Anthony Gallarday is attracting attention for his indigenous yet modern take on Mexican food at Tavo’s Signature Cuisine, the Milwaukee restaurant he opened with his parents in 2018. He talks about his efforts to honor the traditions of his ancestors through a farm-to-table approach.
