1 p.m. Saturday, May 18: “Cavalleria Rusticana” by Pietro Mascagni, and “Pagliacci” by Ruggero Leoncavallo.
A famous operatic double-feature, these two one-act operas are set in rural Italy. In “Cavalleria Rusticana,” a woman abandoned by her lover seeks revenge — and gets it. In “Pagliacci,” a traveling theater troupe is torn apart by infidelity, jealousy, and ultimately murder.

1 p.m. Saturday, May 25: “Rusalka” by Antonin Dvorak.
Based on the fairy tale “The Little Mermaid,” Dvorak’s 1901 masterpiece travels from a mythical forest to a palace and back again. A water nymph falls in love with a human prince. A witch agrees to make her human — but the spell will break if she ever speaks.
