Indoor water parks—once shrugged off by the tourism industry as novelty attractions—are crashing onto the national scene in a monster way. First sprung in Wisconsin in 1989, there will be at least 120 in the US by late 2006. And practically any business that wants to see its revenues float to the top, is building one.
