Sailing season is underway for the passenger vessels that cross Lake Michigan. One of the boats—the S.S. Badger—has daily trips in and out of Manitowoc, where it remains an important part of the local economy.But the Badger is a coal-burning vessel, and apparently needs to come up with a cleaner way of doing business within the next two years.Chuck Quirmbach reports…
