Service workers at Lambeau Field won their first union contract Sunday afternoon, according to a statement the union released Monday.

The beer vendors are employed by Delaware North, the food and beverage provider for the stadium. The Milwaukee Area Service & Hospitality Workers Union, or MASH, represents more than 90 people who serve beer and other beverages at Lambeau.

The union said 88 percent of the vendors voted to approve a tentative three-year collective bargaining agreement that was negotiated with Delaware North.

MASH says the contract doubled the base rate of compensation for nearly all current vendors, with provisions that will give pay rate increases to new hires as well.

“Earnings of vendors, like many commissioned and tipped employees in the hospitality industry, depend on staffing, assignments, and scheduling,” MASH’s statement reads. “The new union contract ensures the ability of vendors to protect their livelihoods, with management and the vendor union jointly determining each of these measures.”

The union said the contract also creates a procedure for dispute resolution and establishes a committee that the union says will give workers more of a voice in decision-making.

Workers at Lambeau Field voted to join MASH in December 2023. MASH says negotiations on the first collective bargaining agreement took roughly 10 months.

Delaware North did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
