Lawmakers Take Up Other Proposals

Republican leaders will be busy the next several days trying to secure the votes to pass a budget out of the state Senate.In the meantime lawmakers will take up plenty of other proposals, including a ban on human cloning and a change in the way the state negotiates tribal gaming compacts.
