McFarland’s Hamilton siblings again headed to World Curling Championships

Curling duo will compete together in late February at the 2024 USA Curling Mixed Doubles National Championship

McFarland’s Matt and Becca Hamilton are once again heading to the World Curling Championships.

The siblings led their teams to victory during the finals of the USA Curling National Championships in New Jersey on Sunday.

This marks the sixth national title for Matt Hamilton, who’s represented Team USA in back-to-back winter Olympics. He took gold in 2018.

The men’s world championships will take place from March 30 to April 7 in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.

Becca Hamilton will make her fifth world championship appearance representing the United States. Those games will run from March 16-24 in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Becca Hamilton also competed in both the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics.

Matt and Becca Hamilton will head to the sheet together later this month to compete in the 2024 USA Curling Mixed Doubles National Championship.
