Wisconsin Public Radio and St. Norbert College’s Strategic Research Institute have released the latest installment of the Wisconsin Survey for the fall of 2013.
The survey of 400 Wisconsin residents was conducted by random selection using landline and cell phones between Oct. 9 and Oct. 21.
The poll focused on people’s opinions about a range of national and state-level issues, including the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

According to the survey, the vast majority of those polled said the country is heading in the wrong direction, but more than half say the national economy is the same or better than a year ago. Residents have a slightly more negative than positive opinion of President Barack Obama and an overwhelmingly bad review of Congress. A majority said they generally support the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
The margin of error is plus or minus 5 percent at 95 percent confidence level.
