Thirty-five years ago tonight the ore carrier Edmund Fitzgerald sank in one of the worst storms recorded on Lake Superior.Although the cause remains a mystery, some mariners blame huge rogue waves for its sudden sinking. Now, UW Sea Grant is testing a device that would warn ships about these giant waves. Mike Simonson reports from Superior.
