Both supporters and opponents of a proposed property tax freeze have launched lobbying efforts urging Governor Jim Doyle to either veto the measure or sign it into law. City and county leaders sent a petition to the governor Friday demanding a veto. Meanwhile, Republicans have launched website where property tax payers can sign an e-petition in favor of the freeze.
