Amy Blackstone is a professor in Sociology and the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center at The University of Maine. She’s the author of a new book, “Childfree by Choice: The Movement Redefining Family and Creating a New Age of Independence.” She’s the co-creator of the blog, “We’re {not} having a baby!” Her work has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and her research has been featured in various media outlets, including The New York Times.
