Ann Shanahan is an Associate Professor of Directing at the Rueff School of Design, Art, and Performance at Purdue University. She also chairs the Department of Theatre. Her research and teaching specialties include directing, gender and theatrical space, and theatre and social change. She’s also presented numerous papers on acting and directing pedagogy, and gender and performance at conferences across the country.
