Bill McGlaughlin has worked as a performer, conductor, educator, and broadcaster. As a conductor, McGlaughlin has worked with many symphony groups across the United States. He is the host of “Exploring Music” and “Center Stage.”
McGlaughlin’s introduction to music came when he was 14-years-old and found that being a musician enabled him to pursue many of his interests. He has worked across the United States as the music director of several orchestras, a few have been located in Eugene, Tucson, San Francisco, and Kansas City.
As a conductor, he has led the Baltimore Symphony, Denver Symphony, Houston Symphony, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, National Symphony, New Orleans Symphony, Oregon Symphony, Pacific Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, St. Louis Symphony, Opera Theatre St. Louis, American Music Theater Festival and San Antonio Festival.
