Celeste Campos-Castillo

Celeste Campos-Castillo received her PhD in Sociology from the University of Iowa and completed a Post-doctoral Research Fellowship at the Institute for Security, Technology, & Society at Dartmouth College. She studies how information and communication technologies (social media, electronic health records, and patient portals) are used in context of health and health care by patients and health care providers. Concepts she uses in this research are social psychological and include privacy, stigma, self, and identity. This research has been covered in news media outlets, received professional awards, and external funding.
