Chad Hanson is a research ecologist. He co-founded the John Muir Project in California 1996. He’s published scientific papers on forest fires considering history, trends, ecology, and how animals use burned forests. He is co-author of “The Ecological Importance of Mixed-Severity Fires: Nature’s Phoenix.”
