Chad Nackers is editor-in-chief of The Onion. He has filled many roles over his 27 years at The Onion, including photographer, associate graphics editor, staff writer, senior writer, sports editor and head writer. He has held the position of editor-in-chief since 2017. He is the longest serving employee and the last of the original Madisonian on staff. Chad grew up in the Appleton area.
