Lisa Cottrell, PhD, CBSM, is a clinical health psychologist specializing in the behavioral and psychological treatment of sleep disorders. Additional areas of clinical emphasis include anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, stress and post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Cottrell’s therapeutic approach is integrated, with an emphasis on behavioral/cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal techniques. She is board certified in behavioral sleep medicine and completed post-doctoral training at Stanford University Medical School Sleep Medicine Clinic in an American Academy of Sleep Medicine mini-fellowship. She is also a graduate of the Behavior Therapy Training Institute of the International OCD Foundation and is certified in trauma counseling. Dr. Cottrell treats adults. She also treats adolescents and children for sleep disorders only.
