Erika L. Bierman

Erika Bierma is a former Assistant Federal Public Defender who now represents individuals in private practice. She represents individuals accused of everything from serious felonies to misdemeanors and ordinance and traffic violations. She has extensive experience in matters that span a wide variety of allegations. She also represents individuals who have been indicted for federal crimes in a broad range of charges and assist individuals that are targets of federal investigations by negotiating charging decisions prior to a grand jury hearing the referral. She also represents both youth and their parents in the juvenile court system and in school disciplinary proceedings including non-academic misconduct and expulsion matters at the high school and university level, including expertise in CHIPS and JIPS investigations, including juveniles accused of ordinance violations, misdemeanors and felonies.
