Gretchen Bakke

Gretchen Bakke is a cultural anthropologist who wrote the book “The Grid: The Fraying Wires Between Americans and Our Energy Future.” She is a professor at the Integrative Research Institute on Transformations of Human-Environment Systems at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. Bakke was previously an assistant professor of anthropology at McGill University in Montréal, Canada.
