Jim Buchholz served for 40 years as a park ranger and park supervisor at several Wisconsin state parks and forests with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. He is the author of the new book “Wisconsin State Parks, Forests and Recreation Areas: A Ranger’s Guide.” Jim Buchholz’ career with the WDNR included working at Hartman Creek State Park, the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest ant High Cliff State Park. He later served as supervisor at Devil’s Lake, Wyalusing, Kohler-Andrae and Harrington Beach state parks.
