Kevin Revolinski is a freelance writer/photographer writing mainly about travel, beer, food, and the outdoors. He is the author of 16 books, and his work has appeared in The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and Sydney Morning Herald. His year teaching abroad in Turkey became the subject of his first book, The Yogurt Man Cometh, a travel memoir. He has traveled to more than 75 countries and lived in five. He did his first guidebook work for Rough Guides and has since written several Wisconsin and Midwest travel, beer, and outdoor guides.He is an avid reader, camper, hiker, paddler, and beer drinker. He has lived abroad in several places including Italy, Guatemala, Turkey, Panama, and Thailand, but currently calls Madison, Wisconsin his home base.
