Latif is director of research at “Radiolab,” and host of the Netflix show, “Connected.”
He has a Ph.D. from Harvard’s rocking history of science department, where he spent four years spelunking in dusty archives and interviewing nonagenarians to research his dissertation on “the Tanganyika laughter epidemic of 1962.”
He lives in Los Angeles, Calif.
