Michael Schumacher has written six books on Great Lakes shipwrecks: Mighty Fitz, November’s Fury, Torn in Two, The Trial of the Edmund Fitzgerald, Wreck of the Carl D., and his newest book, Too Much Sea for Their Decks: Shipwrecks of Minnesota’s North Shore and Isle Royale. He has written narratives for twenty-five Great Lakes shipwreck and lighthouse documentary films. He lives in Wisconsin.
