Shankar Vedantam is NPR’s social science correspondent and the host of the “Hidden Brain” series and podcast. Prior to NPR, he spent 10 years as a reporter at The Washington Post. He holds an undergraduate degree in electronics engineering and a master’s degree in journalism from Stanford University.
