With only hours remaining before Tuesday’s primary election in Wisconsin, Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz held a rally in Eau Claire on Sunday night and was was flanked by a group of state conservative heavyweights.
Taking the stage with Cruz were former presidential candidate Carly Fiorina and U.S. Senator Mike Lee of Utah, along with Gov. Scott Walker and Eric O’Keefe, the director the Wisconsin Club for Growth. All highlighted Cruz’s conservative credentials and painted him as the candidate to win the presidency.
Cruz said the nation is watching Wisconsin and a win here will reverberate across the country.

“If we stand together and unite we will win this nomination and we will win the general election, we will beat (Democratic presidential candidate) Hillary Clinton and we will turn this country around,” Cruz said.
A recent Marquette University Law School poll has Cruz 10 points ahead of GOP rival Donald Trump among likely voters.
Both men are scheduled to campaign in Wisconsin again on Monday, with Cruz starting out at a town hall in Madison.
