Wisconsin’s two United States Attorney’s offices will have lawyers available on Election Day to respond to any potential violations of federal election law.

In a joint statement, the U.S. Attorney’s offices said their efforts are aimed at preserving voters’ rights and deterring election fraud and discrimination.

“Both the Eastern District and Western District are going to be having attorneys on call on Election Day and available for questions,” said Peter Jarosz, District Election Officer for Western Wisconsin. “We will also have contacts at the FBI that are available for response.”
