The Rise Of Violent Political Extremism
Eleven people were killed and six more were wounded Saturday when a gunman opened fire at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood. The shooting came on the heels of several alleged explosive devices being sent to top-ranking Democrats and after a racially motivated shooting in Kentucky. Brian Levin, Professor of Criminal Justice and Director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University-San Bernardino, joins us to talk about last week’s events and what could be fueling these incidents.
