How The Factory Changed The World
The world as we know it has been shaped, in part, by the proliferation of the factory. Factories over the decades have provided jobs and goods; been the epicenter of labor issues; and, been significant parts of domestic and international economies. We speak with historian Joshua B. Freeman, Professor at the City University of New York Graduate Center, about his new book, “Behemoth: A History of the Factory and the Making of the Modern World”.
