Hundreds Arrested At Dakota Access Pipeline Protests
141 people were arrested in North Dakota amid ongoing protests over the Dakota Access Pipeline. The underground crude oil pipeline is designed to transport hundreds of thousands of barrels of oil per day from North Dakota to Illinois, but the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and other Native American tribes that have allied with them say the pipeline threatens the water supply and could destroy sacred tribal sites. We get the latest from a journalist who has been covering the story.
