Lead Exposure And Public Health In Wisconsin
A lawyer representing 170 lead-poisoned kids in Milwaukee announced a lawsuit this week that alleges lead paint manufacturers are attempting to shirk responsibility for their role in the city’s lead problem. The news comes after the resignation of the city’s Health Commissioner over a lead related scandal earlier this year. We talk to a public health expert and someone working on lead education in Milwaukee about how big the problem is statewide and what some are doing to combat it.
