A Look At Wait Times In Wisconsin's VA Hospitals
Last August Congress passed the Veterans Access, Choice, and Accountability Act after news surfaced of long delays in some VA centers around the country. The law provided more money to VA centers and allows veterans to seek care outside of the system if wait times will be longer than 30 days.
Since that law was passed, the Associated Press has been investigating wait times at VA Centers around the country and found that, while hospitals in Wisconsin fare well overall, waits in Milwaukee and Madison are longer than the national average and could be growing.

The Case For Donwsizing As We Age
As we get older, it’s a great time to lighten our load and start getting rid of lots of stuff. That’s according to an expert on aging, who says downsizing helps simplify our lives, makes moving easier, and leaves less work for our kids after we’re gone.
