New Report Shows Wisconsin Ranks 13th In The Nation In Overall Child Well-Being
On Tuesday the Annie E. Casey Foundation released the 2016 Kids Count Data Book. The report is an annual ranking of states on 16 key measures of child well-being, including educational, social, economic, and physical measures. For the third year in a row, Wisconsin ranks 13th in overall well-being for children…but the report found large disparities between children of color compared to white children nationally. A guest from the Wisconsin Council on Children and Families breaks down the report.
