Wisconsin's Inaugural Elk Hunt To Take Place This Fall
The state Department of Natural Resources announced last week that the Wisconsin’s first elk hunt will take place this Fall near the Clam Lake area.. This comes 22 years after the reintroduction of elk to the state began. We talk to the DNR’s ecologist to find out more about the hunt and the state’s elk population.
