2017 At The State Capitol
This year, state Republicans came together to pass a $3 billion incentive package to bring a massive technology plant, and thousands of potential jobs, to Mount Pleasant. However, a long delay in passing the two-year state budget brought out divisions in the party, especially over transportation funding. Plus, a challenge to Wisconsin’s electoral maps could have national implications after making it to the U.S. Supreme Court. One of our state capitol reporters joins us to look back at these stories and how they could affect next year’s elections.
