Avery tells Cameron about the night she stopped a woman from jumping off the pier. Tova obsesses over learning that there was a girl involved with her missing son, Erik. Later, Tova decides that it is time for Cameron to become friends with Marcellus, the giant Pacific octopus. Marcellus wonders how Tova and Cameron cannot see that they are related and decides to take action.
