John Kenneth Galbraith was a noted Economist who served in Intelligence under the Roosevelt Administration.
Henry Hatfield was a professor of German at Williams College when he was called upon to serve. In addition to German, he gave instruction in aerial navigation during the war.
Erhard Dabringhaus was a professor of Germanic culture at Wayne State University. He was a Military Intelligence Officer during the war.
