Play ‘Clyde’s’ portrays challenges faced by the formerly incarcerated
“Clyde’s,” a play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage, tells the stories of the formerly incarcerated staff of a truckstop diner. Forward Theater in Madison is putting on the play in collaboration with JustDane, a nonprofit helping people involved in the criminal justice system.

The pop-forward “Bury the Lede” deals with love, death, the grimness of current events and the need to find relief on a Friday night. Dessa talks about the album, guest hosting NPR shows and her family ties to Wisconsin.
