Sturgeon spearing season gets off to a strong start
The sturgeon spearing season opened on Feb. 8, and some very large fish were harvested – including the fourth largest sturgeon in the Lake Winnebago system at 79.3 inches and 180.5 pounds. Margaret Stadig, a senior fisheries biologist Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, joins us.
