Ana Vidovic comes from the small town of Karlovac in Croatia, and started playing guitar at the age of 5. At the age of 13, she became the youngest student to attend the National Musical Academy in Zagreb. She graduated from the Peabody Conservatory in 2005. Her performances includes recitals in throughout Europe and the United States.
She talks to Norman about her early career and the construction of her Australian guitar with which she plays several pieces in our studio. She’ll be performing Concerto No. 1, Op 99 by Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra on Friday, January 17,2014 at the Overture Center in Madison.
