The Midday welcomes pianist Andre Watts to the studio. He performed with the Madison Symphony Orchestra at Overture Hall on April 3rd, 4th and 5th. The program included music by Saint-Sa ns, Wagner and Brahms.
In 1962, at the age of 16, he was chosen by Leonard Bernstein to make his debut with the New York Philharmonic. 24 years later, Mr. Watts received the Avery Fisher Prize. Today he is one of the most celebrated classical musicians in the world.
