Today’s Midday features three winners of the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition. Koppany Bodor (with piano accompanist David Becker) will play the first movement of Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto. David Pickar will perform Brazilian composer Ney Rosauro’s Marimba Concerto Suite. And Grand Prize winner Benjamin Bates (with piano accompanist Kristi Bates) will round out the performances with the first movement of Dmitri Kabalevsky’s Cello Concerto No. 1.
