Norman welcomes pianist Christopher Taylor to the WPR studios. He is a Professor of Piano at the UW-Madison and is one of the nation’s foremost musicians. He’ll be performing with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, April 10-12, 2015. In the studio, Mr. Taylor performs:
- Scott Joplin’s Maple Leaf Rag (1899) and The Crush Collision March (1896)
- Joseph Lamb’s Ragtime Nightingale (1915) and Bohemia Rag (1919)
- William Bolcom’s Graceful Ghost Rag (1970)
- Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer (1902) and Solace (A Mexican Serenade) (1909)
- Eubie Blake’s Charleston Rag (1899)
