Canadian pianist Janina Fialkowska was headed for a law career until she met world renowned virtuoso Arthur Rubinstein. She stopped by the Midday to tell the story of her work with Rubinstein and to provide insights into her approach to Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto. She’ll also recount the strange genesis of a work that involved Franz Liszt and an unwitting Peter Tchaikovsky.
