For today’s Midday, Norman invited Madison Symphony Orchestra clarinetist Joe Morris and UW professor and pianist Christopher Taylor to WPR’s Buck Studio. Morris is just 24 years old and joined the MSO just a few weeks ago. He’s from Los Angeles and talks about his MSO audition.
Together, they perform Claude Debussy’s Premiere Rhapsodie; the second movement of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto; and Jorg Widmann’s Fantasy for Solo Clarinet.
