Norman talks to internationally known violinist Midori. She will be performing Shostakovich’s Concerto No.1 with the Madison Symphony Orchestra on November 11, 2011.
Midori was born in Japan and started playing violin when she was just three years old. She made her first recording at the age of 14 for Philips when she performed music of Bach and Vivaldi with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Pinchas Zukerman.
