Some of Africa’s brightest young leaders are currently in Wisconsin, as part of the 2018 Mandela Washington Fellowship, a six-week long program sponsored by the U.S. State Department. This hour, we’re joined by the associate director of UW-Madison’s African Studies program, who tells us more about the fellowship. We also hear from two of the fellows about their work, what they’ve been up to so far in Wisconsin, and what they hope to bring back with them to their home countries of Ghana and Uganda.
