When Ayaz Virji moved to Dawson, Minnesota in 2013 to respond to a doctor shortage in rural America, he felt welcome. That changed after the 2016 election. His experiences gave rise to a popular lecture series he’s given about what it means to be Muslim. We talk to him about what he’s learned on his journey.
