For many years, Toys ‘R’ Us was the place to check out the newest and coolest toys…but that time is coming to an end. The retailer announced last week that all of its 735 stores in the United States would soon be closing. While parents now have one fewer option for toy shopping, toy manufacturers are also losing a major avenue for showcasing their products. This hour, we look at what the closure of Toys ‘R’ Us means for the broader toy industry…but also what it could mean for what ultimately ends up in the hands of your child.
